I grew up in Scotland and studied Physiology and Anatomy at the University of St. Andrews. I came to the U.S. in 1979 and married my American wife in 1982 in New York City.  I completed a master's degree in counseling in 1997 and worked in the addiction field for several years.  There I gained a lot of understanding about human struggles and pain and how to help people achieve what they truly want. After working in the addictions I went into the field of counseling and psychotherapy.

Over the years, I have trained in three methods I experienced as particularly powerful and loving: Recreation of the Self by Jon Eisman, Hakomi by Ron Kurtz, and The Comprehensive Resource Model by Lisa Schwarz. If working with me and these methods is right for you, you will experience relief from your problems and positive changes within weeks.  I want to awaken you to your innate, and what I would call your organic, Self and Heart. As soon as is possible I want you to get to a point where you don't need to work with me anymore.   Contact me if you would like to talk about working together - no obligation involved.  We can work online or in person or a mix of both.
